This American Life takes to the visual form in this Chris Ware-designed animation about a bizarre event at an elementary school when all the students suddenly took up playing with pretend video cameras. Cameraman, from episode 5, tells the story of G.J. Echternkamp and how a trend of fake news reporting overtakes his grade school classmates and a piece of their humanity.
Chris Ware, American cartoonist and graphic novelist, teamed up with animator, John Kuramoto, to create a simplified world of geometric-based illustration. It’s a chilling true life story told with playfully bold visuals.

After watching the film i thought the film was interesting and very creative.The overall message is to not use cameras for stuff like recording fights but instead use it for stuff like filming movies and etc.My rating for this film would probably be a 4 because this is what i thought was the film deserved.
ReplyDeletethe animation style of this film is entertaining and different from other films. the overall message in my opinon is a invention can be used for good thing and also bad. I give this film a 4 out of 5 stars because it animation is cool but it could be longer.

ReplyDeleteThis Animated Short Film Is creative. Has Alot of imagination in it. I dont know what type of animation is it but i give it 3 stars. This short film can be helpful to give to kids that like animation films.

ReplyDeleteThis is a video about little round kids using fake camera, my name is Daniel and welcome to my film review. This movie was an animation and not one of the better ones i seen so far. I have to give props for the story but all the rest it was horrible. I liked the story and the characters was well explained so i liked it so far. But remove that you have a terrible animation. So in the end give it 5 out of 10 little round reporter kids.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinoun this movie was good but it could be better. I Think that more dialoge would make this movie better. That is the only bad thing that i can say about this movie, the message is good i like the animation. I gave this move a 4 out of 5.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I actually think this movie was pretty interesting..... also I think what it was saying was true. LIke how people would act different behind the camera... you just won't act like yourself. I would rate this short film a 8.
