Commercial Breakdown 1: Visual Storytelling

"Deconstruction" of a Public Service Announcement (a type of commercial)

If a visual story is effective, someone should be able to get the point from just looking at the combinations of shots (called "sequences").  Look at the opening shot, the final shot, and one sequence of shots in the middle of the commercial and see if you can guess what it's about from just the visual elements.
Opening Shot
Shot 1
Shot 2
Shot 3
Final Shot (those are rats)

Analysis:

What is the Video Director Trying to do with this combination of shots?

What's the message?
Who is the intended audience?
What is the tone?

Watch the Video and see if you got it!
