I think this film was not good. i think this film was not good because i did not see the pint of this film.There has to be a reason why the film started off when the girl was walking. Was she sad, angry, or furious.She just went home and started acting like she was angry at something , then she messes with her brother.I want to know what for ,this film doesn't not give enough details of why was she angry. the ending of this film was just horrible. All she said was ''she was packing up her bag for a dance'' like i didn't like it because there was no point to it. it just doesn't make any sense. Thank you for reading my blog :)

Well, I personally think that the sincerity of the film is realistic and very emotional. In this film, it shows the struggles of a girl who is quickly rushed unto adulthood, by taking care of both her mother and brother and by paying all the bills.

DeleteI agree with Melvin, you made a great comment Stanley and used powerful grammer to express your thoughts on the film. I disagree with you though, I didn't think this film was emotional at all. It was confusing, I had to watch it twice and read the summery to understand it completely. I don't see a point in the making of this film, like most short films I have seen in this class. The film wasn't realistic in my opinion, not original, very predictable, dull, the plot wasn't brilliant at all and the lighting wasn't to good either but I have seen worse. I give this film a 2/5. Thanks for trying Jaro Minne but I think you can do much better than this. Oh and Stanley, give your rating next time.

DeleteI think the film has no perpose.The daughter is always angry and the son is calm.The mom come in the room just to sleep and the family is boring.Even tho the girl pays bills and makes food,she is still controling.If I was to rate this film,it would be a 1.Not a zero because I like that they used real people in stead of animation.The iteams were real and the music is likable,thats why theres a 1.

DeleteWell, I have to disagree with you concerning the film not having a purpose. I think that there's a deeper meaning to the film, in which you must have overlooked. In the film, I personally see the struggles of a girl paying all the bills, and her constant arguments with her brother. That is the purpose of the film my good friend.
Deletenicholas i disagree about what you said because the purpose of the film is a family who has trouble trying to make a living is having a hard time because the daughter has to pay the bills and cant follow her dreams so she is making a choice on helping her family or following her dreams in dancing .
Deletethe short movie Regarde-moi shows a large amount sincerity and emotion but the colors are dull and depressing. 3 minutes into the movie makes you wanted to turn it off,the plot was over exaggerated and stupid, so overall this movie wasn't worth watching.

Deletethis film is very confusing in my opinion. i couldn't follow the plot very well. the story wasn't really well if their was. it felt like the film had no point or theme. out 5 stars i give this a 1 out 5 because of its lack of a story or plot. i do not recommend this movie to anyone it really bothered me that i couldn't follow any plot.
ReplyDeletei think the purpose might of been to show a life in some peoples lifes. it might of been to show what will happen if you make the wrong choices. maybe the point was just to show a film for art of film. he might be trying to show what she/he was going through when he was younger or is happening now in he's/her life.

She is going through some rough problems that make her smoke and act a certain way towards her brother . At first i didnt understand in the beginning of the movie when she was walking in the street out of no where i didnt get to notice her emotions at first . I think that this is girl is strong and is going through alot . I like this film and i think it was good to see what young girls my age go through in life .

This film was very honest to all people because, why is she the only one doing something and her mother sleeps all day and the brother don't do anything.
This characters could possibly be real because its like todays life we have people that do the same thing in some types of places teenagers that smoke and act like they don't care about the rules some teenagers who call each other words ad other stuff

ReplyDeleteI experience at that age girls smoking cigarettes. It's nothing new to me because I see it often. She argues with her brother and I do that too. The movie wasn't long enough for me to judge whether I liked it or not, and I wouldn't want to see more if their were. I wouldn't have a choice though.
ReplyDeleteI think that this film was... well, kind of good. At first, I was completed lost, and somewhat confused, but as the film was about to be finished, I finally understood what the movie was telling me. what I liked about this film is that the girl is having a hard time trying to pay the bills, and feels abandoned, and betrayed by her mother, and her younger brother. If I was to rate this film, I would give it a 9 out of 10.
ReplyDeleteI think that this film wasn't as good as it could have been. I don't want to be rude towards the people who worked so hard on this film. But it really did feel incomplete, like it was missing an important part to it. I think it could have been longer. Also the camera angles I think were nice. I woud rate this film a 3 out 5.
